The lady bugs are active in the day and will leave the house in search of food. Select a visible yet protected location in your garden to mount your lady bug house. Look for an area where you can mount it off the ground but still nearby your plants. Ideally, choose a South-facing location that will get at least 4 hours of sunlight per day. Fill the inside of your Lady Bug House with natural Aspen Excelsior or wood shavings. Source lady bugs from your local garden center or online.
